Amina has a face I would love to use in my Youtube Music Promotion! I am a Music Producer/DJ/Mastering Engineer by the way... I think using Amina in my videos it would go against the stereotype blonde seen everywhere too. I'm drawn in to Amina... Excellent Photographs all round too!
The pic, model and pose are very nice from afar...but when you enlarge the pic of the models face, it looks plastique and a bit off. Her colored contacts don't look natural as opposed to her other shots which are lovely. The area around and under her eyes look old and cakey.
Another example of non-art photography. A pair of breasts, nothing more. I think we need a category called simply "nude" without the word "art." Or how about "breasts." I suppose we have groups for that. But it sure would save alot of time for people like me looking for work at least STRIVING FOR some artistic integrity - whether it is nude or whatever - to not have to wade through this nonsense.
"Why are you here then?"
Thank you for asking. Because I wanted to give my opinion. There.
It's not fine or avant garde art, but I think it's artful erotic photography. There's a lot of work done with the environments and poses. I think the eroticism of the pictures has as much to do with the models' expressions as with their body shapes.
Appreciation of the human form in art is nothing new. The human female is probably one of the most desirable and popular forms in art. I see a lot of effort and taste in his art. There is plenty of artistic value here in terms of color choices, mood, setting, poses, anatomy, lighting etc. All these things are applied in a tasteful and artistic sense. Nothing close to "nonsense" as you say.
I think what truly unnerves you is the fact that this photographer's popularity and ability dwarfs that of what you'll ever even come close to. It's not hard to tell the man puts love in his work, and having a look at your gallery I really can't say the same. Not even the slightest sprinkle of imagination. There are literally thousands of generic photographers in the same boat as you. Opinions are a two way street my friend.
If you can't handle female anatomy and it's appreciation then just keep scrolling along. Your blatant effort to go against the grain no doubt points to your own projection and jealousy.
Just as there are "thousands" of images of naked women all over the internet. You're critique of my work has failed. I never claimed to be a great photographer. But if you are calling me "generic," how the hell is this any more imaginative? Breasts? Yup. Never seen any of those on the internet before. Moron.
And you are right about the artistic choices! I'm sure the porn photographer has to decide how to light his subject as well.
I didn't critique your work. A real critique is meant to help the artist develop. If you want a pointer however I will say that you "could" be a better photographer if you spent less time ranting about people who obviously have a better eye for photography than you do. Does bitching and shit talking help you hone your skills?
You see yourself as someone making a valid point by ranting but instead is giving a heavily biased point of view of what isn't agreeable to you. Trollish at best. I would like to see where you're coming from but I can't put my head that far up my ass.
Porn? You're generalizing again. What may be "nude art" to one person is obviously "tits and ass" to you. Don't demonize the human body and those who appreciate it's beauty just because you can't be an adult and handle naked flesh.
wow. this is unbelievable. I don't believe there is any reason for me to write critiques anymore. people don't read them. They do what you do: they see that I have replied, they glance through my writing and see that I don't agree with their half witted point of view, then they make pitiful attempts to insult me.
ugh. the futility of it all. Well, you did confirm at least one of my suspicions: you are a fool.
