The people consistently criticizing work like this because they are ashamed of nudity should grow up. Comments like "this doesn't belong on DA" are so absurdly subjective that they show a complete lack of understanding in regards to art criticism.
Are you allowed to share an opinion? Of course. However, I would argue in return that DA is just as much about intelligent critique as great art - and your comments may be just as out of place as you claim this photo is.
Love her bone structure and the colour of her shirt. It's good to see a body that's normally proportioned - big breasts often come with large hips, and/or a larger rear. It's not shown that often, but it's true. I also like the belly button bling that goes with the little studs on her shirt pocket. The image feels pulled together and pleasant. Could benefit from better lighting. I still like it, though.
not quite sure what you're going for with this image. it confuses me. well, she's attractive. but that's really the only good thing i can say. there's a fine line between artistic nudes and sex images. this isn't really a glamour portrait per-say. eyes lack emotion. if the eyes aren't strong enough in the image, the image is lost. try and make your models represent an emotion of sorts when posing, it'll help people connect to the image better. parted lips are highly overdone. a model can have full, luscious lips by just using lip gloss. lip gloss and parted lips together just over does it. her pushing her breasts together really isn't all that appealing either in the photo. "more cleavage" doesn't necessarily "more attractive" either. on the bright side, the contrast between the soft blue and brown is really nice. on the down side, her hair is almost the same color so she gets lost in the background. i like the hand on the neck, not so sure about the one on her face. i feel it takes away from her features. just remember that accentuating the breast and lips makes for a more "sex" based image while accentuating the limbs and eyes can make for a more artistic image. make your models look tall. she's all scrunched up. that's all i've got for now. oh, and next time please remember to put a mature filter on please. it's just a respect thing for people who are uncomfortable with this kind of art. that's all the critique i can think of. ignore people who just bash your photo's. insulting someone's work isn't going to help the artist any. advice helps one improve. ALSO- never be afraid to tell your model what you want them to do. guide them. don't force them though if they're uncomfortable with a situation. but you can always explain to them what you're looking for.
Nice body angle - just a bit of a "come-hither" look but not overdone: excellent. The breasts are nice but they detract from the model's face (just not a big breast guy myself... ) and the enticement of wishing you could see further down - but, I'm guessing that that questioning is all psrt of the idea... Good shot, thank you.
ok, so you stuck a shirt on her. still the same thing: a sex picture. this is still a concept short of actual photography. again i'm not criticizing nude art, i'm criticizing you. dont be another person who takes pictures of nude women and calls it art. do something different. get inspired! learn more and become great!
a wise man once said: only a fool thinks himself a master. there is always more to learn.
Proof that the amount of skin and tits shown in a photograph are highly proportionate to the amount of pageviews received, despite tastefulness of the image. At the very least, put a mature content filter on all such photos so that those of us who DON'T want to see it on the front page don't HAVE TO.
