interesting shot and would have gotten more of my attention if it did not look manipulated. It looks as if you cut her in at the waist, skimmed off some on each thigh and some on the interior of the right arm. The piercings look faked too. Sorry I don't appreciate models photographs manipulated to look so unrealistically thin. I think it is a bad example for young women and girls. I will never buy a Ralph Lauren product because of the unrealistic way he expects his models to look.
That may be the case, but it may not. If you view several other shots of what appears to be the same model in his gallery, in all shots there is a piercing, the waist is quite small and her neck quite long. It is possible that is simply the model's natural shape.
Eh. I had the experience of knowing a young woman who had an extremely slender rib cage and long neck. That's all. I too was taken aback when I first saw the image but then scanned his gallery for more images of the model.
Very pretty young woman in her own way. Takes all kinds of body shapes!
And... I also like to give artists the "benefit of the doubt." The initial response I replied to, the poster seemed to be convinced the artist was manipulating photos to make a healthy woman to have what she felt was an unhealthy appearance.
I did think that, but then I also looked at the other models and wondered if he made such extreme modifications on all the images of this one model, why not the others? And how difficult would it be to make the same adjustments for the same model for a variety of images/poses with varying backgrounds as well?
XD "Mind you, I am a poet, so what do I know." not laughing at you, I just thought it was funny you just threw that on there. I saw some other pictures of the same model and she looks a lot more realistic and theres another one that looks more photoshopped. I don't really care either way but I was just pointing it out.
Mm, it's a nice, clean shot. The pose is really against her though. It shows too much of the ribs and makes her upper body and head look extremely large where as her waist seems microscopic. I would also think about the outfit, the shorts and top work fine, but the piercings seem out of place, along with the headband. Over all, great camera work and background, though I'm not dying for that pose.
The pose and angle doesn't go together that well. From my point of view it looks a bit too special/weird. This shot could have been better from another angle I think, but I like the background and the model is pretty.
Beautiful model and shot, but I kinda miss a theme/emotion/overall mood. The model has an impressive face, maybe you could do something with that? Not trying to sound like a bitch, just wanting to give some serious feedback
