Perfume

I think this one was a wonderful piece, as i would guess it suppose to be a pin-up as the artist 's gallery was obviously focus on the genre , but the colour more strucks me as an modern Frederic Leighton , when i said Leighton , one was the dominated yellow background which makes it so classical , the red robe and the mirror just instantly reminds u something so sexual symbol leighton often used , and the blueish sky colour just even everything and tells the watcher : Its more than staged , its real .
I never was a pin-up fan nor really i into photography , i would guess technically its pretty good , the whole staging,light,time ,camera ,even the subject matters or u'd say thats great blue reflective light on her back, but when i look at a work, its never really about that , its because somehow i could connected with the scene , the story reflect in my mind , its like a great songs sometimes reminds u good and bad memorys .
it might not be the artist intention , but then again , maybe it never was.
