Self-Portrait

This is a truly amazing and very clever piece, and fits neatly into a couple of segments.

Firstly the girl; self evidently stunning is in an evocative pose, slightly inviting. The diffused late afternoon falling across brings out the beautiful tones of her skin and lights her face in a flat manner accentuating her natural beauty The net result is a highly appealing image in its own right.

Secondly the shadow. In reality an image of the photographer framing his shot but imparting a clear hint of voyeurism as he seems to be shielding his eyes to get a better look at his gorgeous girl:and who wouldn't?

Set together a brilliant composition.

My only slight carp would be with the cropping, with less room above her head we may have been able to get her feet in
