Description
"An artist cannot fail; it is a success to be one."
~Charles Horton Cooley
Celebrating 50 million views (yes, that's 50'000'000 views) on deviantART alone (source: stefangrosjean.deviantart.com/… ). Who would have ever thought that pictures of scantily clad ladies would be so popular, right?
I submitted my first deviation six years ago, but personally I consider the summer of 2009 as my starting point as a "fully commited" erotic art photographer. That was, when I went to the big bad city of Los Angeles for the first time in my life. Now I can look back on 5 years of independent, self-funded erotic photography.
I'm proud of my 50 million views. It's something I can tell people and they react impressed. But I have also done a lot of artworks in my life that almost nobody paid attention to, like for example my book that was ten years in production and then maybe 5 people bought it. The quote above is still very true for me. Some people may think that if you don't have a lot of success you must not be a very good artist, but I always felt that true success lies in being an artist - which is to me more a way of life than social status.
Independent erotic art made with respect.

My muse. Terrific and lovely. I very much appreciate her contributions and your fine talent. Truly a fantastic dichotomy of art and beauty.
